Established in 1999, LYNERS is committed to engineering with purpose, shaping communities through innovation, care, and lasting impact. We offer consulting and project management services across public infrastructure, education, housing, and resort developments. Our work spans all spheres of Government and the private sector, primarily in the Western Cape, with select projects extending into Chad and Lesotho.
From its humble beginnings in 1999, LYNERS has always traded on a strong set of core values which incorporate respect for clients, sub-consultants, communities, contractors and personnel and a belief in professionalism, integrity and ethical behaviour under all circumstances. Openness, honesty, confidentiality, discretion, excellence and commitment are all values that form the bedrock of the company.
Prepared to interrogate ourselves, not just to remain relevant, but to lead the way, LYNERS embarked on a rigorous process of restructuring in 2015, involving all our staff.
The mission was to inculcate our corporate culture and image, our raison d’être, and articulating our behaviours and values. This ultimately manifested in the systems and processes of our organisation as known today.
During this inclusive process, we defined our WHY, VISION and MISSION.
The Consulting Engineering industry experienced significant growth between 2002 and 2008; however, between 2017 and 2024, it declined to the same turnover levels, in real terms, as in 2002.
In stark contrast, LYNERS achieved an exceptional average annual growth rate of 23.5% from its inception to 2024, spanning an impressive 25 years.
