The Swartland Community Sport Centre (SCSC) was honoured as the 2025 Recreation Body of the Year at the Western Cape Provincial Sports Awards. This recognition reflects the Centre’s continued contribution to sport, recreation, and education across the province, and follows their 2025 Recreation Body of the Year Award in the West Coast District.
Having previously secured District Awards in 2023 and 2024, this year marks a significant milestone as SCSC achieves provincial recognition.
This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of the SCSC team, as well as the ongoing support of partners and the broader community. Centre Manager, Jacques Treadway said, “We extend our deep appreciation to Hope Through Action, the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, and the Provincial Sports Confederation for their support and recognition!”
